This is intended to prevent traffic from diverting onto the secondary road network to avoid jams.

Brief Closure Due to Cycling Race on the A1

Additionally, exit bans must be expected on the A10, and a cycling race will briefly bring traffic on the A1 to a standstill. The closure on the A1 West Autobahn toward Vienna at Auhof (Vienna) lasts from 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

ASFINAG recommends that travelers check the current traffic situation before setting off and, if necessary, shift to travel times outside of peak hours. Breaks and sufficient fuel in the tank are also recommended in view of the expected delays.
