The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned of an imminent massive Russian attack during a visit to Dublin and called on the EU to impose tougher sanctions. At the same time, he was measured in his response to the indictment in the Nord Stream case and criticized European companies' dealings with Russian oligarchs.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned in Dublin on Wednesday of a new massive Russian attack on Ukraine and called on the European Union to tighten sanctions against Russia.

Zelenskyy spoke at a press conference on the sidelines of the ceremony marking Ireland's takeover of the EU Council Presidency. He announced that he would return to Ukraine immediately after the appearance. During his visit to Dublin, he also issued a warning to his own population: "Heute gibt es die unangenehme Information über die nächste Vorbereitung eines solchen massiven russischen Angriffs", Zelenskyy said.
