A 40-year-old Austrian fell around 25 meters and was seriously injured on Saturday in a climbing garden in the Tyrolean municipality of Zams (Landeck district).

According to initial findings, the man had intended to rappel, leaned backward and fell around 25 meters over partly vertical terrain into the depths.
The fall caused the 40-year-old serious injuries, the exact extent of which was initially unknown.
After being rescued by the emergency services on site, the injured man was transported to the Innsbruck University Hospital and received medical care there.
The accident occurred on Saturday in a climbing garden in Zams, a municipality in the Landeck district in Tyrol.
